Application of wood plastic materials

1. Decorative building materials such as house floors and interior doors

Wood-plastic composite materials are used to make outdoor wood-plastic floors, sunrooms, and dock guardrails. In terms of decorative materials, they can be used to make floors, moisture-proof walls, home walls, fences, walkways, flower boxes, various gymnasium decorative materials, hanging boards, roofs, shutters, window frames, and mirror frames.

2. Outdoor open-air facilities

Wood-plastic materials are widely used in parks, communities, streets, roads, bridges, pavilions, fences, wooden plank roads, open-air tables and chairs, signs, billboards, and gratings in public places. Wood-plastic materials are widely used for their maintenance-free, paint-free, wind and rain-resistant, and close to nature. They have obvious advantages in waterfront buildings and humid environments.

3. Packaging products such as pallets and packaging boxes

Currently, there are 800 million pallets in circulation in China, and 200 million pallets abroad are all made of wood, consuming a large amount of wood resources. If wood-plastic composite materials replace wood, they are not only cheap but also free of fumigation. Wood-plastic pallets combine the advantages of wood pallets, plastic pallets, nd steel pallets and bandon their shortcomings. Wood-plastic pallets have high density, high strength, no fumigation, acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, not easy to age, non-absorbent, insect-proof and moisture-proof. Solve the poor cleanliness, easy damage, and short life of wood pallets, and avoid the shortcomings of poor rigidity, high price, and small flexibility of specifications of all-plastic pallets. Moreover, wood-plastic pallets can be planned, nailed, and assembled at will into standard pallets at home and abroad. In my country, the application of wood-plastic in the warehousing industry has just begun, mainly in shelves, decking, floors, beams, etc., and there will be broad market prospects in the future.

4. Other aspects

Municipal transportation facilities such as pavilions, seats, flower pots, trash cans, and bus shelters are widely used abroad because of their long life and low price. In addition, the research and development of automotive interior decoration, composite pipes, railway sleepers, cable protection pipe,s and manhole coverhaveas also entered the application test stage from demonstration. I believe that shortly, the application field of wood-plastic products will be further expanded.
